Responsible for teaching Theory, Practice and Professional Management of courses, subjects/part of the curriculum belonging to two groups: Theory and Practice of Postgraduate, Undergraduate programs in Automotive Engineering; Transportation Engineering;
Implement research activities, technology transfer application, production linked to training, vocational training, and skill evaluation.
Mission
Organize and carry out the construction of programs, update programs, textbooks, and learning materials suitable for actual conditions to ensure training quality;
Plan, organize teaching, evaluate learning outcomes of majors and training systems in the Faculty;
Conduct scientific research at various levels.
Facilities
The faculty currently has 03 automotive practice workshops, marine engine repair, tractor engine repair with an area of over 1500m2. The laboratory equipment is very diverse, equipped through stages according to the technology of the US, Japan, the Soviet Union, and North European countries. Diverse and synchronized equipment includes 06 courses enough to train students to participate in national, ASEAN, and world-level skill competitions in Automotive Engineering Technology.
In 2014, the University allocated the 3rd floor in the 11-story building to establish the Faculty Office and 5 specialized laboratories in the field of Automotive Engineering Technology to serve undergraduate education, scientific research, and professional training.

Enhance consolidation, stability, and development of undergraduate Automotive Engineering education; open new training majors;
Invest in additional facilities to support education and scientific research;
Establish specialized departments, build specialized rooms, and specialized topics to serve learning, research, and scientific reporting;
Collaborate with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy in Technical Education, and link with enterprises in the field of education, scientific research, and technology transfer...
Research topics on fuel saving, environmental pollution reduction, development, and use of clean fuels;
Research and develop electronic textbooks, multiple-choice question banks;
Support students in participating in scientific research and technology transfer.
