Facilities
Through the Project of Developing Technical Education and Vocational Training and the Annual National Target Program, the Department has been equipped with increasingly modern facilities and equipment.
Most of the Department's facilities come from countries with advanced science and technology such as the United States, Germany, Russia, Japan, Spain, Denmark, and Switzerland.
Development Direction
Currently, the Department's CNC Practice Workshop has been upgraded to the CAD-CAM-CNC High Technology Center, one of the most modern centers in the Mekong Delta region. In the coming years, Vinh Long University of Technology and Education will develop key fields, including the Department of Mechanical Engineering achieving international, ASEAN, and national standards. In the annual target program, the Department continues to be equipped with modern facilities, ready for the first university-level training courses and subsequent courses of the University.
Personnel
The Department of Mechanical Engineering currently has 28 staff members, including 3 doctors of science, 10 masters of science, and 13 masters of engineering. The Department has 12 associate professors and 2 professors. Among them, there are 12 officers holding key positions at the faculty and university levels.
