On the evening of April 15, 2025, Vinh Long University of Technology Education (VLUTE) held the “Vietnam–Korea Cultural Exchange,” a fun and lively event celebrating the cultures of both countries.

Notable guests included Ms. Cho Miae, a KOICA volunteer; Dr. Ho Minh Trung, Dean of the Faculty of Basic Sciences; Mr. Dang Hai Dang, M.A., Youth Union Secretary and Head of Student Affairs; Ms. Truong Thi Thuy Van, M.A., Vice Dean of Basic Sciences; and Mr. Pham Minh Trung, M.A., Head of the English Department. Students and faculty, including those in the 2+2 program with Tongmyong University (South Korea), joined the excitement.

The event was a great way to bring Vietnam and South Korea closer, with awesome performances and interactive activities that got everyone involved.

VLUTE students lit up the stage with vibrant music and dance performances, highlighting the distinct cultures of both countries and fostering pride and friendship.

Fun activities like Korean culture quizzes, a Hanbok dressing challenge, and souvenir photo sessions kept the energy high, with cool prizes that helped students dive deeper into Korean culture.

VLUTE offers ten academic programs in its high-quality 2+2 joint program with Tongmyong University. This event wasn’t just a good time—it was a chance for students to practice Korean, connect with both cultures, and grow as part of their academic journey.

A highlight was the opportunity for students to practice Korean through real-life conversations with Ms. Cho Miae, a KOICA volunteer at VLUTE through the KOICA–VLUTE partnership.
