FACILITATING COOPERATION BETWEEN SERACO INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION CONSULTING COMPANY LIMITED AND VINH LONG UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION

On July 26, 2017, the meeting between leaders of Vinh Long University of Technology Education (VLUTE) and SERACO International Education Consulting Company Limited, Australia (SERACO) was held at the meeting room of VLUTE.

On the side of SERACO, there were Mr. Dinh Van Vinh - General Director of SERACO, Ms. Nguyen Phung Thanh Tam - Managing Director, Mr. Trieu Minh Sang - Marketing Director, and Mr. Jacob William McCullough - Director of Australian Accredited Registered Training Organization. 

On the side of VLUTE, there were Dr. Le Hong Ky, Vice Rector, Head of International Cooperation Department; leaders of functional offices and faculties such as Office of  Scientific Research and International Cooperation, Faculty of Food Technology, Faculty of Information Technology, and Faculty of Pedagogy.

Mr. Dinh Van Vinh, General Director of SERACO, is giving information about SERACO and introducing cooperative opportunities between the two parties

 During the meeting, leaders of the two sides discussed and agreed on the main contents of the cooperation agreement between the two parties. Specifically, SERACO will introduce some partners from Australia's universities, colleges to VLUTE for joint training programs under the “2+2” formula. With SERACO’s support, VLUTE can connect with other vocational assessment institutions in Australia for vocational skills assessment to help students with job placement in Australia or in Western European countries. Additionally, VLUTE needs English native speakers to help its students improve their English. Regarding this issue, SERACO will introduce some Australian teachers who meet VLUTE’s requirements for teaching English language at VLUTE. All issues were discussed in details for later MOU signing.  

On VLUTE’s behalf, Dr. Le Hong Ky, Vice Rector, expressed his delight in collaborating with the Australian partner. He extended his gratitude to SERACO for creating favourable circumstances for VLUTE to have a meaningful exchange session, and he also expressed his hope that the two organizations will have fruitful cooperation in the future.
