VLUTE Student’s Participation in the 44th WorldSkills Competition in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

On August 9, 2017, Vinh Long University of Technology Education solemnly held a ceremony to congratulate VLUTE student, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, on participating in the 44th WorldSkills Competition held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, AbuDhabi, United Arab Emirates in October 2017.

The ceremony took place in the morning with the participation of VLUTE Board of Administrators, Heads of VLUTE units, Lecturers of the Faculties, Departments, Offices and nearly 300 new students of Course 42.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, student of Faculty of Information Technology, has won the silver medal of the 11th Asean Skills Competition in Malaysia in 2016 (Information Network Assemble). For the Worldskills Competition 2017, the Vietnamese delegation will be composed of 10 contestants, competing in 8 competitions, including 1 team competition. This is an opportunity for VLUTE student to visit, learn, experience and interact with international friends.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Hung Phi - Rector of VLUTE - expressed his pleasure and pride in the past achievements of the Faculty of Information Technology in particular and of the whole university in general. Especially, he congratulated Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh on his success and being an excellent representation of Vietnam in the coming international skills competition.
